What Can I Expect?

The Perfect Girls weekend away - We promise you an experience and people you will never forget!!

So why a weekend?
Most of us have commitments, family, work, and I know that we all like to maximise our entitlement and leave the main weeks for our core holidays. A weekend can fit in to anyone’s schedule and we hope that you will continue to return to the boot camp on many occasions for that retreat or adrenaline rush you need!!! Ladies Boot Camp starts on Thursday evening and we ask you to arrive after work from 5pm and latest 6.30pm. The weekend concludes on Sunday at 5pm.

What can I expect?
Our camp is based on an authentic military boot camp….this is a no frills boot camp aimed on our core objective of intensive military style exercise that delivers results. We believe that ‘mind set’ is an integral part of achieving your goals and our accommodation reflects this with military tents for sleeping and eating. Don’t get us wrong you will be warm and our food is nutritious and home cooked but whilst it maybe cordon bleu it will be served in the mess tent!!! There will be portable showers and toilets on camp.

We have the highest ratio of trainers to clients north of London with a maximum of 10 Ladies to our 2 PT trainers. Personal attention is uppermost in our regime to ensure an individual and satisfying experience. Your trainers for the weekend are mainly marines, men who are and have served their country in the most perilous war zones in the world. They are qualified PT instructors and are physically in perfect shape and are responsible in ensuring the fitness of their battalions for the battlefield and all that it requires. You will be living as marines do on duty with early starts and late nights.

Thursday night will be introductions, a camp fire and a welcome talk from Sue (boot camp owner) on expectations, aims and objectives for the weekend. There will be some light exercise to warm you up ready for Friday morning!!!

The day is normally broken up into hourly sessions on or off site, or in woodland and could include Military Fitness activities such as Wake Up PT, Section Attacks, Command Tasks, Battle PT, Leopard Crawling, Parade, Log Runs, Barrel Rolling, Body Pump, Boxing, Skipping, Bike Riding, Hiking, Team Games, Scramble Net-Obstacle Courses, Circuit Training, Core Training, to name a few. Whilst this is not an exhaustive list it gives you a feel for the type of activities you can expect.

What is also on offer and an integral part of our boot camp is…..laughter, fun, friendship and camaraderie with your fellow bootcamp weekenders’ which lasts long after the hard work!!
